  • When I first came to your center following a severe stroke, I could not swallow thin liquids or solid food. Also, my speech was almost unintelligible. After 3 weeks of therapy, I was able to drink a glass of water. I will never forget how wonderful that tasted or my therapist's huge smile when I handed her the empty glass!

  • My son Joshua has a serious speech delay. When he first started receiving therapy at Mary Pelligrino's three years ago, he was unintelligible. The therapists have challenged him and helped him with his various speech-related needs. His speech has improved dramatically. I would recommend any of the therapists at Mary Pellegrino's.

  • There was a time when I thought speech therapy was limited exclusively to speech problems. After I was referred to Mary Pellegrino and her staff, I discovered they can help with much more. Their expertise goes beyond basic speech issues.

  • I am thankful to the Tallahassee Speech and Language Center, Mary Pellegrino and Associates for all the help you have given my son David with his severe speech delay at 3.5 years of age. Even when he could only say two words, you continued to show him social skills, language skills, and sounds...Thank you for your valuable services.

  • Alex with his speech therapist. Our doctor sent us to Tallahassee Speech Center when our son was diagnosed with autism. The changes we have seen in him are remarkable. He has a large vocabulary and is able to carry on a conversations with us now. He plays appropriately with his toys and is learning to socialize with children his own age. He is learning how to deal with his emotions and how to express what he is feeling without melting down...Tallahassee Speech Center has not only helped my child but has also helped me and my husband learn how to communicate with him. I thank God everyday for the therapists that have been such an important part of our lives...
